Fast + Fabulous Friday No. 57
Hey guys! This week I'm here with a quick and fun layout that brings back the painting! I started off this layout with an idea - I had recently received a couple color theory acrylic paints and I just knew I wanted to make my own patterned paper with them. I just scattered some brush stroke filled grey circles in a polka dot pattern across my 9X12 paper and then added spontaneous green leaves where I felt compelled. Once I had this lovely paper made, I didn't want to detract too much with crazy embellishments so I chose a simple photo, placed some thickers over it for my title and placed a journaling tag and one number ticket from the current Film Club Kit from Studio Calico.
To finish it off, I added one wood veneer arrow piece below my title to point to my shoes which are definitely my Spring shoes, and I was beyond happy to dig them out to replace my winter boots! The '3' tag was to denote that my photo was from March and I just love the pop of color that it brings without being overwhelming in contrast to the rest of the color palette.
