Hi guys! I'm a special guest designer this month for Kellie Stamps so today I'm sharing the projects I made with one of her new sets—in the Kellie Stamps shop now! It's called MAKERS GONNA MAKE and I'm in love with it! It's absolutely wonderful for documenting all your crafty adventures! I've used the set in two projects below, check 'em out!
Hi guys! I'm back again today sharing another scrapbook layout with you! This fun layered page uses a bold patterned background (from my February Kit in the shop), a large photo and lots of layers. Check it out below to get all the details and product information!
Hi guys! I'm back today sharing a short peek at a typographic layout I created using the Odyssey Digital Alpha stamp set from Studio Calico. I found this quote by Langston Hughes recently and I just knew I wanted to incorporate a type heavy layout. I love the roundness and skinny lines of this alpha stamp and so I played around with it for this layout titled 'Go'. Check it out, and some details below!
Hi guys! I'm back today sharing a graphic scrapbook layout titled 'That Was Fun'. It incorporates a more graphic spin with minimal embellishments, a simple color story and acrylic paint details. Keep reading to see details about how I laid this page out and what products I used!
I love telling stories through graphic scrapbook layouts and this week is no different! This week I'm sharing a 9x12" layout today titled 'Happy Thoughts' and it's a fun and vibrant take on scrapbooking a random list of thoughts! Keep reading for details and products for this layout!
Sometimes I like to hoard elements and hold onto them when I love them dearly but I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm continuously getting new products through kit subscriptions, my own creation, and splurging, and I just need to use them! So this week, I'm sharing a lesson in scrapbooking big, and using up your supplies–yes even those coveted ones!
Hi lovelies! Today I'm sharing the beginnings of my December Daily® album for this year! I've switched up my album slightly since I prepped it but I'm really digging the simpler format this year that I described in that post. For the majority of this album I'm using one photo per day paired with hand-written journaling and I'm loving this approach so far! See below for even more details and I hope you enjoy!
I–like many others around the world–am partaking in December Daily again this year and boy am I excited! I completed my little album from 2014 with pride and I love looking back on all the happy holiday memories. Last year, however, I was back in school and working–a combination of which was way more than a full time commitment–and I fell off the December Daily bandwagon with all my beloved handpicked supplies left to collect dust. Until now, that is! Since I had already chosen supplies, purchased a mini kit, and made a *somewhat* concrete plan last year, but didn’t have the opportunity to do December Daily, I am repurposing those plans and am excited to tackle the challenge again this year!
Hello again, lovely readers! I'm very excited to share this layout because it's been in the works for a while, and it's finally finished! Because I started the digital portion a while ago and never got a vision for how I wanted to finish it, I just allowed it to percolate until an idea came to me. I recently trimmed some strips off of the cards from the kit in my shop, 'Pumpkin Spice' and noticed that the lovely mix of prints and colors was really inspiring to me. I instantly had a vision of it laid like a colorful brick pattern along a spread ... and that spread was this 'Dreamer' layout!
Hi guys! I'm back today sharing a fun layered layout titled 'Hello Tennis'. One of my favorite parts of the September Kit 'Pumpkin Spice' is this fun jumbo dot confetti. To create this spread I printed a 4" x 9" panoramic photo from my trip to the US Open and adhered it to the top of my spread. I then layered alternating colors from the kit's confetti down the page. Once that was done, I grabbed a label from the kit and hand lettered the title and stamped the date on it, adhering it front and center on my page. To finish it off, I grabbed the mini wood veneer hearts from the Young at Heart Studio Calico Documenter Kit and scattered them throughout the spread for movement and texture. That was all! See below for more detailed photos of this page!
Hi guys! I'm back today sharing a little layered grid layout titled 'Morning Hello'. It's fun and vibrant using the recent kit from Studio Calico 'Pool Party'. To complete this layout, I punched some 2"x2" squares with my Fiskars XL punch and layered them atop each other in a funky skewed grid. Once my papers were down with a little Tombow permanent adhesive I stitched through them with some textured embroidery thread in three straight lines. Once that was complete, I attached my photo on some pop dots and finished the spread with a little strip of date paper at the top! Check below to see all the details up close!
Hi! I'm back today and I'm sharing my scrapbook layout 'Bloom' with you today. This layout is a fun page with a stamped pattern background, mix and match title, and floral paper cutouts. Check out the details and products I used below!
Hi lovely readers! I'm happy you're back with me today. I'm sharing a scrapbook layout titled 'Energetic' which is a hybrid page and I'm really digging the possibilities of trying this technique more! Let me know what you think!
As you may know, I've been partaking in the Studio Calico Design School Class and well, it's got me inspired over here! Combining two challenges–typography and pattern–I made this scrapbook layout titled 'Work' with a hand-lettered background which incorporated my large title as well. Keep reading to see how I did it and to see more details about this page!
Hi guys! I'm back this week sharing a layout that's all about the sparkle! Using some stamping, transparency and sequins paired with a full page background image, I was able to achieve a fun layout with this page 'happy right now'. Check out the details below!
Hey there lovelies! I'm back this week sharing a layout titled 'LOVING' featuring my lovely nephew from our most recent outing in NYC. This layout was inspired by the class I'm taking over at Studio Calico called 'Design School' and it's really been inspiring me to remember that scrapbooking isn't much different than graphic design. I've finally realized that it's totally awesome to approach my layouts how I would approach a task at work and this is helping me find new sources of inspiration and excitement to create. I'm finally feeling some mojo and have kicked the lull of inspiration to the curb – thanks Studio Calico! This layout is a simple take on scrapbooking using a full page image as the background and a boat load of sequins to create movement and interest throughout the page. Check out all the details below!
Hey lovely readers! I'm happy to have you here today to take a peek at the August Kit Sneaks! Today I'm sharing a sneaky peak at one of the 9x12 papers which I've used in a layout titled 'Blast' and then another look into some of the journaling cards that will come in the kit! The theme and inspiration for this kit is retro back to school and it will be called 'Elementary' in the shop launch on August 16th so be sure to check back then for a view of the whole kit! Check out my layout using the kit below and drop any questions or comments! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the colors and contents you see below!
Hi guys! I'm here today sharing a fun layout titled 'Adventure' and this layout is ALL about the title. I've used an oversized title as well as some digital prowess to create this fun layout where my photo is a cutout of myself and interacts with my title. Check out the layout and all the details below!
Hey guys! I'm back this week sharing a little layout I like to call 'Smile'. It's a really simple grid layout with a beautiful color palette using cards from various A Beautiful Mess Messy Boxes that I snagged recently during their big sale. I absolutely love their kits but I just can't think about another subscription month to month so instead, I snagged some of my favorites from their past kits during their big sale and I'm super pleased! I used different 3x3 cards surrounding a photo of my nephew that I trimmed down to fit the center 3" wide space. The title card I grabbed from their March kit with the word 'smile' on it and I finished it off with a wood veneer ampersand from Studio Calico.
Hi guys! Today I'm sharing a layout using the newest release from Kellie Stamps – a digital stamp set called 'Outdoorsy'! For this layout, I used a full background photo in black and white for the page To make it dynamic, I took the digital outdoor icon-like stamps from the kit and laid them on top of some watercolor strokes. For the title, I grabbed the sticker phrase 'wild & free' from Little Lamm & Co's 'Cheeky' kit and paired that with a label and date stamp in the bottom right corner. Check it out below!
Hey guys! I'm finally finished with my Week in the Life album for 2016! It took longer than I expected to finish but I'm totally loving the result! Check out the video below for a full walkthrough of the album and down below for the products I used.

Hey guys! I'm back this week with a new project to share with you! I just have the beginnings to show you today but I hope to continue working on this new venture and continue sharing my process. I'll also be sharing a little bit of the ideation behind this project and why I think it may be something important to continue in the future - who knows, maybe you'll want to play along too!
Hey there! So glad you've joined me today for this little 12 x 12 scrapbook layout titled 'Carefree'. It's a digitally based layout that is really focused on using fun colors and digital labels! The basis for this layout is a fun photo I took the other week in the office when there were cupcakes for breakfast. I'm a firm believer in living life to the fullest - no matter what time of day so capturing these carefree cupcakes for breakfast was a good start to my fun colorful layout. Based on this idea, I grabbed the script for the title from Little Lamm & Co.'s 'Hammock' Kit and got to work with some labels, colors and extra embellishments to top it all off like stitching and ampersands.
Hi All! I'm back this week with a lovely scrapbook layout titled 'Sunshine'. I absolutely love pulling inspiration from other art forms to inspire my scrapbooking and lately - quilting has been my go to. I saw this lovely jagged quilted backpack and loved all the angles and lines and colors. I pulled my inspiration from there and began laying out the star of this layout - the background! Keep reading to see how it's done!
Hi guys! I'm back this week sharing another lovely layout I made using the 'Obsessed' digital stamps from the June Kellie Stamps release and some more elements from the 'Meraki' kit release from Little Lamm & Co. as well! If you haven't headed over to check those out yet - I highly recommend it! Keep scrolling to see how I used them to make a big bold title for my page titled 'I Love Us'.
